At Inverness Estate we have planted Chardonnay, Semillon and Cabernet Franc - setting out to produce a family of wines that are not only enjoyable to drink, but are also a pleasant accompaniment to food.

Our first vintage in 1999 saw the release of 1999 Ness Valley Chardonnay and the 1999 Cabernet Franc, both being acknowledged in Cuisine magazine reviews. The Chardonnay was awarded a four-star rating and was described as "soft, round and dangerously easy to drink." The Cabernet Franc was awarded a three-stars and was described as "a vibrant, peppery red that begs to be enjoyed within a couple of years of its vintage - with food of course."  Wine writer Bob Campbell MW, commented that the vintage was "a great start for a new vineyard."

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to try our latest releases - the 2004 Ness Valley Chardonnay, 2004 Semillon and 2004 Cabernet Franc. As a boutique vineyard, only limited quantities are available each vintage.

Inverness Estate Ness Valley Chardonnay 2004
Delicious tropical fruit flavours with a hint of grapefruit and lightly oaked. A well balanced easy drinking wine.

Inverness Estate Semillon 2004
A Sauvignon Blanc style crisp dry wine with delightful fruit flavours, and is surprisingly creamy on the palate. An excellent partner to oysters and fish dishes, refreshing on its own. Serve well chilled.

Inverness Estate Cabernet Franc 2004
Beautiful rich ruby red wine, soft in the mouth but with intense luscious full berry flavours with a hint of capsicum. Easy drinking now and good cellaring potential (but why wait?).
