Modelled on the classical colonial country home, Inverness Lodge offers guests luxury and spacious facilities. We have four suites available for guests - three are doubles (two super-king & one queen) and one a super king twin. Each suite has a private bathroom.
Dining
Guests enjoy a spacious lounge, library and dining room. Privacy is graciously preserved, except over dinner when John & Yo entertain Lodge guests with sumptuous food & Inverness wine. Breakfasts are served in the rambling country kitchen or outdoors on the sun-drenched verandah.
Tarriffs
The Inverness Lodge tariff includes accommodation, pre-dinner champagne cocktails, four course dinner and full breakfast. Beverages (other than tea, coffee and iced water) incur an additional charge.
The tariffs from 1 January 2006 - 31 December 2006 are:
DOUBLE OR TWIN OCCUPANCY
NZ$375 per person per night +12.5% GST
SINGLE OCCUPANCY
NZ$425 per night +12.5% GST

Deposits
To confirm a reservation we require a deposit of 25%, or a current credit card number (with expiry date) as a guarantee of confirmation.
Cancellation Policy
If we are unable to replace a cancelled booking, the following applies: 25% of the total cost will be charged if a booking is cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival. Should cancellation be made within 7 days of arrival we have no choice but to place a 100% surcharge for the room nights cancelled.
Transport
Can be arranged by taxi or limousine. Many of our guests prefer to have the flexibility of a rental car. As part of our confirmation process we provide guests with full details of how to arrive at Inverness Estate.
Activities
Excellent beaches are within 10 minutes drive. Three golf courses are within 15 minutes drive. We can arrange boating and fishing excursions, horse trekking. Interesting bush walks. Tennis, croquet and boules. Polo season December to March.
